LM Signed Dave the Slave Jar Edgefield Pottery

Very Nice Example of Dave Drake's work (Dave the Slave). Marked LM (for Lewis Miles) and X. Great runny, rusty colored glaze. This example would be ciirca 1850s. There has been a repair to one handle and part of the rim as well as some minor chips on the othe handler. Doesn't hurt the value much on this rare a piece. One similarily marked sold 11/18/06 at charlton hall auctions for about $15,000 (including buyers premium). I am asking much less than that. It is 13 " tall.
