Dave the Slave jar Edgefield South Carolina Pottery Item sold This is a large, five gallon jar with markings attributed to Dave (Dave the slave). It has two slashes and five piercings. Excellent condition with only a little glaze crawl around one handle. Brown alkaline glaze. Raised rolled rim, two lig handles, about 13 inchs tall.
